About George Parsons

George was born in upstate New York. As a youth he was active in sports as a three sport star in high school.

George earned his college degree at the University of Connecticut. He played on the basketball team and once blocked the shot of Julius Erving. After college he worked as a photographer for National Geographic taking pictures on projects in Mexico.

George moved to Lake Tahoe in 1976 where he managed and ran a natural foods store and restaurant for five years before he became a real estate agent in 1981, he has been active in real estate ever since. He has handled numerous transactions, including a $14.3 million dollar transaction in 2002, which is still one of the largest dollar volume sales recorded for the Tahoe Sierra board of realtors on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. 

George has been active in numerous community activities including coaching youth soccer, basketball and baseball. He also coached basketball for a local High school. He has one son, G.O., a recent graduate of UCLA who has had a film accepted into the New York International film festival. G.O. now works in the film industry and lives in Los Angeles

George stands out in a crowd, he is 6’6 inches tall. He is also a stand out with all his clients.
